The Golden Rule

Do to others what you would have them do to you.
                                     —Matthew 7:12

This is a verse that most everyone knows—and that most everyone fails to practice.

It’s a verse that we want others to follow in their dealings with us—and one that we find difficult to follow in our dealings with others.

Deep down, we know it’s the way we should treat others, and that when we do, it blesses us as much as it does them.

The way to get others to look for the best in you is to look for the best in them.

The way to get others to judge you kindly is to judge them kindly.

The way to get others to appreciate you is to appreciate them.

The Golden Rule only works
when you realize that it’s your move.
