Does the interval between your prayer and God’s answer sometimes seem long?
Why doesn’t he answer? Why doesn’t he act?
He does—when the time is right. Until then you have to wait. How often we waste time and energy fretting about problems we can’t control, only to see God step in and provide exactly the right answer at exactly the right time.
Tranquility and peace will be yours when you surrender to God’s timing—being content for him to respond to your needs at the time and in the way that he sees best.
Our disappointment is often premature.
