Cast all your anxiety on him
because he cares for you.

The Living Bible translates today’s text this way: “Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.”
God is concerned about your concerns. He wants to take on your worries and cares. Little ones and big ones. Trivial ones and tragic ones. None is too small for his concern, and none too large for him to handle.
Paul put it this way: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything … If you do this you will experience God’s peace … His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:6-7 TLB).
Pray about everything and you
won’t worry much about anything.
