Give up the illusion of a trouble-free life.
We want problems to vanish, clouds to lift, giving way to fair weather and sunshine. Every day.
That’s not going to happen. Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble.” Not may have; will have!
And that may be when God uses you best.
Hasn’t your greatest inspiration come from those who endured adversity with courage and faith? Don’t sentimental memories carry you back to days when someone you admire faced hard times with head held high?
So when things grow grim, praise God, for his light shines most brightly in those who trust him in the dark.
You may not know who,
but you are an inspiration to someone.
