More than a million people posted tributes to Apple founder Steve Jobs following his death, praising him for changing their lives and expressing their sense of loss. In large letters, one iPad screen said:

Think of two people whose influence has changed your life spiritually. What did they say, or do that made your life different?
And how is your life different because of what the Father and Jesus have done? In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul notes a nest of sinful acts and says, “That is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Cor 6:11).
