The apostle John, while admitting that our heavenly countenance “has not yet been made known,” nevertheless said we do know “that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is” (1 Jn 3:2).
We shall “bear the likeness of the man from heaven” (1 Cor 15:49). We “will appear with him in glory” (Col 3:4), where he “will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body” (Phil 3:21).
