We came into this world totally helpless and unable to contribute a dime of capital or a day of work to the family that welcomed us. Even so, our coming had been excitedly anticipated, and every imaginable preparation had been made for our arrival.
Those into whose arms we were placed fell in love with us before seeing us. And when they saw us, they thought we were the world’s most beautiful child. They were convinced that they needed us and never considered how much we needed them.
As I think of our first birth adventure and those dear hearts that were so eager to welcome us, I envision the preparations being made and the gladness of the welcome that awaits us in the heavenly family.
