Where Are Your Sins?

I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.
                 —Hebrews 8:12

You have sinned (Rom 3:23).

So, where are your sins? Let’s ask prophets and apostles.

“Isaiah, where are my sins?” “He has put all your sins behind his back” (Is 38:17).

“Micah, where are my sins?” “He has hurled all your sins into the depths of the sea” (Mi 7:19).

“Peter, where are my sins?” “Jesus carried away your sins in his body on the cross” (1 Pt 2:24).

“Paul, where are my sins?” “When you were buried with Christ in baptism, God canceled all your sins” (Col 2:12–14).

Satan accuses you day and night before God (Rv 12:10). But to no avail. “Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns?” (Rom 8:33–34).

Rejoice! Your record is spotless.
