Precious Promises

Call upon me in the day
of trouble; I will deliver you.
            —Psalm 50:15

The Promise of Presence

When you feel alone, friendless, and forsaken, you’re not. You may be isolated from people by geography, circumstance, or sin, but your Lord is near. He invites you to call upon him and offers his presence in your solitude and deliverance from your sin.

The Promise of Certainty

Jesus came to seek and save what was lost (Lk 19:10). He didn’t come to try to do it; he came to do it.

The Promise of Singularity

He is the one and only deliverer. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is this Deliverer or no deliverer, this Savior or no savior.

God comes to you in your here-and-now
to spend time alone with you.
