He’s Thinking About You

Cast all your anxiety on him
because he cares for you.
           —1 Peter 5:7

Your face, your voice, your personality, your fingerprint, your DNA, your abilities—everything about you—is found in only one individual since the beginning of creation, the one-and-only you.

Dig through the archives of human existence all the way back to Adam, and you’ll not find a replica of you among all those millions. You are unique, distinct, and significant. That’s the way God made you. He fashioned you, then broke the mold. He didn’t want another you, but he did want you.

“You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. . . . Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be” (Ps 139:13, 16).

Celebrate being you.

God don’t make no junk.
