And your choices influence your destiny.
Choices have consequences. You are free to choose, but you are not free to choose the consequences.
The time comes when you must choose to turn the page—or not. Today you are making a choice about the future, not the past. You’re writing your life story with a pencil without an eraser. You can’t erase your past choices. But you can choose to turn the page and write a new chapter with a good ending.
It’s not about who you used to be; it’s about who you are going to be. “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise” (Eph 5:15). Be brave enough to make the hard choices but strong enough to make the right ones.
