You Say . . . God Says . . .

Call upon me in the day of
trouble; I will deliver you.
            —Psalm 50:15

You say: I can’t go on.
God says: My grace is sufficient for you (2 Cor 12:9).

You say: I’m tired.
God says: I will give you rest (Mt 11:28).

You say: I can’t do it.
God says: You can do everything through him who gives you strength (Phil 4:13).

You say: I’m at the end of my rope.
God says: I will supply all your needs (Phil 4:19).

You say: I’m worried and frustrated.
God says: Cast all your anxieties on me (1 Pt 5:7).

You say: I can’t forgive myself.
God says: I forgive you (Ps 103:12).

You say: I feel all alone.
God says: I will never leave you or forsake you (Heb 13:5).

You say: Nobody loves me.
God says: I do (Jn 3:16).

It is better to walk with God in the dark
than to walk alone in the light.
