Your prayer has been heard.

“Your prayer has been heard,” said the angel. What prayer? Zechariah had to be reminded: “Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son.” He hadn’t prayed for a son since he and Elizabeth were newlyweds. Now they were old.
God had heard his long-ago prayer—and been waiting for the right time to answer it. The answer would bring present joy to the parents and future joy to many (Lk. 1:14, 17).
You may have forgotten something you prayed for—considered it unanswered. But God hasn’t forgotten. Keep your eyes open and your heart alert—your Father knows the right time and right way to answer.
Delayed doesn’t mean denied.
