We must obey God rather than men!
—Acts 5:29
In an age of confusion, compromise, and vacillating commitment, life needs clear definition.
Movements, campaigns, and agendas rise and fall. But God “has planted eternity in the human heart” (Eccl 3:11). “For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Cor 4:18).
Consider the well-known sentence from St. Augustine’s Confessions: “Thou hast made us for thyself, O Lord, and our heart is restless, until it finds its rest in thee.”
Know with clear-eyed certainty who you are and whose you are.
Nonnegotiable allegiance to God makes life simple—not easy, but simple.
There’s no such thing as partial allegiance.
