You are the only you in the world. There is no one else like you. Never has been. Never will be. You are an original. One of a kind. That’s who God made you … and he didn’t make a mistake.
You have something that no one else has, and all of us will be diminished if you don’t use it. “Do not neglect your gift” (1 Tim. 4:14).
Measure your value by how you use your abilities, however small; not by comparison with other’s abilities, however large.
Make peace with who you are and with what you can do—and do it with all your might.
Spend your time using what you have,
not lamenting what you don’t have.
