Questions Jesus Asked (1)

Consider carefully what you hear.
                     —Mark 4:24

All this week let’s look at questions Jesus asked.

Imagine him locking eyes with you; speaking only to you.

1. Look at the birds of the air … your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? (Matt. 6:26)
2. Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? (Matt. 6:27)
3. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? (Matt. 7:3)
4. Why are you so afraid? (Matt. 8:26)
5. Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your heart? (Matt. 9:4)
6. Do you believe that I am able to do this? (Matt. 9:28)
7. Why did you doubt? (Matt. 14:31)

Serious questions call for sober answers.
