You cannot bring back yesterday or with any certainty map tomorrow.
Today has been given to you.
It will soon be gone forever.
But while it is here, it is yours to use as you choose.
It hands you the opportunity to speak an encouraging word, to whisper an intercessory prayer; the opportunity to extend mercy, forgiveness, good will; the opportunity to think of—and thank God for—the people past and present who have blessed your life; the opportunity to be faithful, brave, strong, and glad.
And before you sleep, the opportunity to think of God, thank him for the gift of this day, and be grateful for his care.
