He always lives to intercede for them.

Jesus prayed for the small group of disciples that companied with him.
And then—long before you were born—he prayed for you: “I am not praying only for these men but for all those who will believe in me through their message” (Jn. 17:20).
And ever since the day he returned to heaven he has been at the right hand of God, praying for you, interceding for you (Rom. 8:34).
Have you ever been without his prayers? Just once—when for three days he was in the grave.
Never again!
You can be sure that when Jesus
prays for you, God listens.
