But weather? Meteorologists predict it. Cities prepare for it. Everybody talks about it. But only God controls it.
Jesus’ disciples saw him cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead, and miraculously feed multitudes. But their faith reached a new level when he changed the weather from furious squall to total calm by saying to wind and waves, “Quiet! Be still!” There wasn’t a whisper left in the wind, nor a ripple on the water.
“Who is this?” they asked. “Even the wind and the waves obey him.”
