Are you uptight? Edgy? Tense?
Maybe that’s because you’re trying to run your world on your own.
Today get God in the picture. In every situation—every situation—whisper, “I trust you, Lord.”
Put all your trust in the Lord and do not rely on your own understanding. Think of him in all your ways, and he will smooth your path (Prv 3:5 NEB).
So whatever invades your life today, bring in the heavy artillery with these four words: “I trust you, Lord.”
Anger, disappointment, and frustration will melt away, and you will be immersed in peace that transcends all understanding (Phil 4:7). God will “fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him” (Rom 15:13).
Look at the past and thank Him.
Look at the future and trust Him.
