from your suffering.

The dear woman had been ill for twelve miserable years. “[A] long succession of physicians had treated her, and treated her badly, taking all her money and leaving her worse off than before” (Mk 5:26 MSG).
Give up? Not this lady! She stealthily infiltrated the crowd that was jostling Jesus, thinking, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Slipping behind him, she touched his robe, and immediately knew she was healed.

But maintaining faith in divine help is always rewarded. Jesus told this determined woman, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
