All Is Well That Ends Well

Seek your happiness in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desire.
                          —Psalm 37:4

The other line moves faster—at the bank, supermarket, tollbooth. If you change lanes, the one you were in previously moves faster.

All papers that you save will never be needed—until they are shredded, when they become essential.

You never find a lost article until you replace it.

All the above are offshoots to Murphy’s Law: “If anything can go wrong, it will.”

We grin because we’ve been there.

And we grin again when we measure how these minor aggravations are far outweighed by these major advantages:

“If any of you need wisdom, ask God for it. He will give it to you” (Jas 1:5).

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Lk 11:9).

“All things work together for good, to them that love God” (Rom 8:28).

God’s promises trump Murphy’s Law.
