Was there a time when you were given a second chance that enhanced your life? Have you given someone a second chance that enhanced theirs? Second chances transform lives.
God gives the ultimate second chance.
We mess up. “There is no one righteous, not even one” (Rom 3:10). “All have sinned” (Rom 3:23). And “the wages of sin is death” (Rom 6:23).
To avoid paying that price, we have been given an undeserved but incredible second chance: “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21). For those baptized into Christ (Rom 6:3), here is the payoff: “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Rom 8:1).
