The Great Physician

Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed.
                    —Jeremiah 17:14

The sickness of sin takes many forms: the fever of lust, the virus of greed, the infection of gossip and slander. Whatever the form, the result is the same—without treatment, we die.

Our only hope is to put ourselves in the care of the Great Physician. He can heal our turbulent desires, our distracted minds, our careless tongues.

The only requirement is acceptance of his prescription, and the only cost is surrender to his guidance. Without him, we are terminal; with him, robust health is assured.

His therapy results in a healthy heart and calm spirit that can only be described as the peace that passes understanding (Phil 4:7).

His prescription doesn’t cure
until filled and ingested.
