The Green Hornet was a radio show created in 1936 about a fictional crime fighter who had uncanny insight. He saw things no one else saw. I had a friend who was a Green Hornet fan. When he asked a difficult question, and I responded, “Who knows?” he would say, “The Green Hornet, he do!” That always drew a laugh from me.
Smiling lips sometimes camouflage a broken heart. Hearts hold secrets that are hidden from our view.
But there is One who knows all. God is aware of your pain. Your struggles are not secret, nor your tears unseen by God. He loves you unconditionally. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end” (Lam 3:22).
He who knows you best loves you most.
