“She’s rich as Rockefeller!” How rich is that? When John D. Rockefeller died, his accountant was asked, “How much did John D. leave?” “All of it!” he said.
There’s a vast difference between the “Haves” and “Have Nots” while we’re here. But when we leave here, we all exit with the same amount? “We brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it” (1 Tm 6:7).
Dollar signs are erringly attached to the question, “How much is he worth?” Wrong questions get wrong answers. Jesus said, “Life is not defined by what you have, even when you have a lot” (Lk 12:15 MSG).
So, how is your wealth measured? Well, here’s what you have: a God who loves you, the Holy Spirit who is within you, Jesus in heaven who is interceding for you, and heaven that is awaiting you.
