Worship the Lord with gladness.

Psalm 100 is a call to worship. It is not a call to be a pew-sitter, but a participator.
“Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. . . . give thanks to him and praise his name” (vv. 2, 4).
Worship is your response to God for what he has done, is doing, and will do: “For the Lord is good and his love endures forever” (v. 5).
Bodyguards surround those of fame and position, prohibiting your approach. But you have an invitation to a personal rendezvous with God: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise” (v. 4). “It is he who made us, and we are his” (v. 3).
“His love endures forever,” an endless reason for joyful worship and praise.
Don’t be a spectator,
be a participator.
