Asked if he had ever been lost in the wilderness, Daniel Boone replied, “I can’t say I was ever lost, but I was bewildered once for three days.”
Are you bewildered about unanswered prayer? You’ve prayed and received no answer.
“I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning” (Ps 130:6).
Eager for the sun to rise.
Daybreak arrives. “In the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly” (Ps 5:3).
Still, no answer.
Why? Perhaps because God is waiting for you: “The Lord waits to be gracious and show mercy to you” (Isa 30:18). He knows what is best, and if you’re not ready, he waits.
“Be humble under God’s powerful hand so he will lift you up when the right time comes.” (1 Pt 5:6–7 NCV).
Wait for God’s answer while God
waits for your readiness.
