Do you know why you do what you do?
There are two qualities within your control that are essential to your spiritual success: perseverance and resilience.
Perseverance is the bulldog determination to keep going when you feel like giving up.
Resilience is the gutsiness to rebound when you’ve failed or been bushwhacked by an unfavorable circumstance or situation.
But you live in a volatile world where some things are beyond your control and where you are dependent on being anchored in otherworldly control: “You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you.”
Perseverance, resilience, and trust in the Lord will see you through tough times.
