God saw all that he had made,
and it was very good.
—Genesis 1:31
Scientists continue to advance theories about the origin and development of the universe.
Theologically, it is enough for us to know that God created all things, as expressed in the first verse in your Bible: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1 continues, picturing God creating and repeatedly saying, “It is good.” He made it all: Day and night. Food and family. Beasts, birds, and butterflies.
Rejoice in God’s creation and be thankful: “Everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving” (1 Tim 4:4).
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being” (Rv 4:11).
Look around and thank
God who created it.
