By new birth we have entered the kingdom spiritually (Jn 3:1–8). But our present perishable bodies are not suited for the future imperishable kingdom. We must be changed.
Much of the “how” is a mystery (1 Cor 15:51). However, in Paul’s 1 Corinthians 15 resurrection homily of Christ’s return, we can pinpoint three changes:
Instantly. We will be transformed “in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye” (v. 52). A supernatural, instantaneous re-creation from this state to that one.
Radically. We “will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed” (v. 52). The perishable will become imperishable (v. 53).
Eternally. The mortal will become immortal (v. 53). The present state of death and decay will have passed away (Rv 21:4).
God will transform you instantly, change you radically, and refashion you eternally.
