Asked which of her possessions she valued most, she said, “I have a letter from my daddy that he wrote to me when I was a child. I read it often, and it touches me and moves me in a different way every time. If it was taken from me, I would be crushed.”
You, too, have such a letter.
Spend some time today in Psalm 119, an anthem of praise for God’s Word. It will make your Bible come alive as a love letter from God—sweet to the taste, sweeter than honey to the mouth (Ps. 119:103).
Viewed as a personal letter from your Father, your Bible will touch your heart and bring fresh meaning every time you open it.
