I praise you because I am
fearfully and wonderfully made.
Bob Hope once said, “According to something I just read:
Today my heart beat over 103,000 times;
My blood traveled 12 thousand miles;
I breathed 23,400 times;
I inhaled 438 cubic feet of air;
I perspired 1.43 gallons, gave off 85.3 degrees of heat, and generated 450 tons of energy.
I spoke 4,800 words.
I moved 750 major muscles;
And I exercised seven million brain cells.
. . . No wonder I’m tired all the time.”
Every feature of your body, including the tiniest cell, reveals its Maker. All the world’s geniuses combined haven’t built anything that comes close to matching it.
“I praise you because of the wonderful way you created me. Everything you do is marvelous! Of this I have no doubt” (Ps 139:14 CEV).
Humans have never duplicated
what God has created.
