A river reaches places that its source never knows. It overcomes barriers, sometimes even going underground and dropping out of sight for miles, only to gush to the surface again at some distant place.
You rarely see how great a blessing you are to others—and never see the full impact of your influence. From you flow rivers of living water, going places of which you may be presently unaware—and of which you may never know.
A word that you spoke. A prayer that you prayed. A gift that you gave.
It seemed such a small thing that you hardly gave it a thought. But at a time and place unknown to you—generational or geographical—it will emerge a life-giving river.
Big blessings often come
from small beginnings.
