My times are in your hands.

Corrie ten Boom, in her book The Hiding Place, recalled looking forward to her first railway journey. She kept pestering her father, asking him if he had her ticket. He repeatedly assured her that he did.
Corie later confessed that her problem was a lack of trust in her dad, worrying that he would lose her ticket when in fact he was protecting it and keeping it safe.
God is much better at keeping our insecurities and apprehensions safe than we are.
“I trust in you, Lord . . . My times are in your hands” (Ps 31:34–35). An affirmation that despite disasters, difficulties, and disappointments, we are in God’s care. Our times are in his hands; this is our security.
Trust Him. He will never let you down.
